  • Can I send mail to my camper?

    Yes! Please allow at least 3 days for delivery.

  • Will I be notified if my child wants to be baptized?

    Yes! If your child expresses the desire to be baptized, we will contact parents and guardians and, of course, you would be invited to attend.

  • What color war team will my child be on?

    When camp registration closes, all attendees will receive an email with a link and access code to the color wars team list.

  • How will I be able to reach camp, if my camper doesn't have their cell phone?

    If you need to get in touch with your child their church leader will be your point of contact.

  • How do I go about lining up transportation to camp?

    Each church is responsible for their groups transportation. Please contact the church you’re attending with for those details.

  • How do I apply for a scholarship?

    Scholarships are decided upon and distributed by each church’s youth ministry team. Please talk to your youth leader if you are in need of financial assistance for camp.

  • How do I sign up to be a camp staff volunteer?

    Each attending church provides adult leaders for the camp. If you're interested in being a leader, please reach out to your youth ministry team for more information and to express your interest.

  • How do I handle medications for my camper?

    Please ensure that the medications listed on the registration form are sent with your child in their original prescription bottles, complete with original labels, and stored in a gallon-sized Ziploc bag.

    Upon arrival at camp, your child will submit their medications to the camp nurse. Medications will be administered in accordance with the instructions provided on the prescription labels.

    At the end of the week, all medications will be returned to the camper for them to take home.

  • How do I handle food allergies for my camper?

    Lake Lavon is fully equipped to accommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies. To ensure we meet your needs, kindly provide all pertinent details regarding your dietary requirements on your registration form. Your well-being is our priority, and we're committed to making your experience at Lake Lavon safe and enjoyable.

  • Can I drive my camper to camp?

    Absolutely! Arrival and check-in occur between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Please ensure that all campers are picked up and departed by 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
